The Hybrid is WOOX’s purpose-built platform for shooters who demand precision-focused ergonomics without abandoning the beauty of traditional craftsmanship. Built from a hand-selected piece of American Claro walnut and engineered around a precision-machined aerospace-grade aluminum mini-chassis, the Hybrid delivers the stability and control of a modern precision rifle stock in a refined all-wood platform.
Designed around deliberate field shots and long-range capability, the Hybrid features a vertical grip, flat-bottom forend, and enhanced shooting ergonomics that promote a more natural trigger hand position and improved stability from supported shooting positions. Despite its precision-oriented design, the Hybrid maintains a lightweight carry weight of just 35oz, making it equally at home on the mountain, in the blind, or on the range.
Every stock is individually hand-oiled to preserve the depth, texture, and natural character of the walnut rather than conceal it beneath synthetic finishes. Hidden within the wood, the integrated aluminum mini-chassis provides repeatable bedding, increased structural rigidity, and long-term consistency through changing conditions and demanding field use.
Available in both Standard and High Grade walnut selections, every Hybrid is one of one. No two grain patterns are ever the same, ensuring each stock carries its own unique character and visual identity.
The industry built polymer stocks for shooters who replace things. We built the Elegante for shooters who keep them.

WOOX stocks are built for short-action centerfire Ruger American Gen II rifles & Ruger 10/22. They are designed to support the most common Ruger American barrel profiles — straight, pencil, and match — while working with single-stack magazines and AICS bottom metal. Compatible caliber setups include .243 Win, .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, and other short-action calibers, making the Elegante a premium upgrade for shooters looking to improve the feel, stability, and overall character of their Ruger American Gen II build.

WOOX Remington 700 stocks and chassis are available for common Short Action and Long Action configurations, including DBM and BDL setups, with support for standard, mountain, magnum, and varmint barrel profiles depending on the model. Also compatible with Remington 700 clone actions using Remington 700 inletting, including popular platforms such as Bergara B14, Defiance, Zermatt, Impact, Kelbly, Lone Peak, and other R700-pattern actions.
That's a question we get a lot, and we've made it easy to find out.

SIGN UPThe Elegante Hybrid is built for the hunter who demands precision at distance without giving up the feel and carry of a true hunting rifle. Designed around the supported field shot, its vertical grip, flat-bottom forend, negative comb, and integrated thumb rest provide stability, repeatability, and comfort in real hunting conditions — not unnecessary tactical excess. No two are alike, and each develops more character with time, handling, and seasons spent outdoors.

Backed by The Craftsman’s Stand: no-questions-asked returns, manufacturer defect replacement, blade refurbishment, and direct access to our gunsmiths—before and long after your build leaves the bench.
30 days to change your mind. For life, we stand behind it—if it fails, we make it right; if you break it, we’ll still help.

Every WOOX stock is one of one—cut from American walnut whose grain, figure, and density can’t be replicated. We don’t mold, we select—then shape and finish each piece by hand, the same way our family has worked since 1937.
That choice sets a hard limit: out of every harvest, only a small fraction meets our standard for figure, density, and structural integrity—roughly 1 in 25 blanks. From there, each piece is individually selected and hand-finished by our craftsmen.
You’re not just upgrading a rifle; you’re securing a piece that won’t exist again in the same form—made to be carried, used, and kept for a lifetime. This isn’t mass production. It’s selection, restraint, and time—resulting in a rifle you won’t see twice and won’t need to replace.
