Raised in Colorado, I was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age and that’s where I spend most of my time, whether it be camping, hunting, or fishing. I love capturing my adventures with a camera so I can share my experiences with others. I’m also an elk hunting guide here in Colorado and love introducing people to the outdoors and helping people achieve their goals on the mountain. I’m very passionate about elk and mule deer hunting and I continue to learn with every trip into the mountains.
1. Tell us about one of your most memorable experiences outdoors.
I have many memorable experiences in the outdoors but the ones that always come to my mind are the ones where I introduce people to the outdoors and hunting. My wife Kiana got introduced to hunting last year and killed her first bull elk! I was very fortunate to be there with her and it’s a memory I will never forget!
2. You’re headed outdoors for the weekend but can only bring a rifle, an axe or a knife. Which one do you choose and why?
If I am heading out to the outdoors for a weekend I am definitely bringing my rifle because if somehow get lost I can still eat! Lol
3. What is something you learned that could only be learned while being in the great outdoors?
I have learned many life lessons in the outdoors but one that comes to mind every time I’m out in the outdoors is that the mountains don’t care, being in shape is your currency in the mountains. This pushes me to be my best physically and mentally everyday of my life!
