The Elegante is WOOX’s first purpose-built platform for the bolt-action hunter who builds his own rifle and intends to keep it. Built from a single hand-selected piece of American Claro walnut and engineered around a precision-machined aerospace-grade aluminum mini-chassis, the Elegante brings traditional craftsmanship and chassis-level performance into the same rifle stock — without compromise.
Available in both Sporter and Hybrid configurations, the Elegante offers two distinct approaches to the modern hunting rifle. The Sporter follows a classic hunting silhouette with a slim forend, traditional grip geometry, and lightweight handling built for all-day carry at just 30oz. The Hybrid is designed around the deliberate field shot, pairing a vertical grip, flat-bottom forend, and precision-oriented ergonomics with a carry weight of only 35oz.
Every stock is individually hand-oiled to preserve the depth, texture, and natural character of the walnut rather than conceal it beneath synthetic finishes. Inside the wood sits an integrated aluminum mini-chassis system engineered for repeatable bedding, structural rigidity, and long-term consistency across seasons of real field use.
Available in both Standard and High Grade walnut selections, every Elegante is one of one. No two grain patterns are ever the same because the material itself is not uniform. That variation is the point.
Other manufacturers put chassis systems inside synthetic stocks and mass-produced wood. We put one inside a single hand-selected piece of American walnut, chosen for this rifle and no other. That is not the same thing.
The industry built polymer stocks for shooters who replace things. We built the Elegante for shooters who keep them.

Hand-finished in Hickory, NC. Precision-machined in Italy. Every piece individually selected from our Claro walnut harvest since 1937.

WOOX stocks are built for short-action centerfire Ruger American Gen II rifles & Ruger 10/22. They are designed to support the most common Ruger American barrel profiles — straight, pencil, and match — while working with single-stack magazines and AICS bottom metal. Compatible caliber setups include .243 Win, .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, and other short-action calibers, making the Elegante a premium upgrade for shooters looking to improve the feel, stability, and overall character of their Ruger American Gen II build.

WOOX Remington 700 stocks and chassis are available for common Short Action and Long Action configurations, including DBM and BDL setups, with support for standard, mountain, magnum, and varmint barrel profiles depending on the model.
That's a question we get a lot, and we've made it easy to find out.

Backed by The Craftsman’s Stand: no-questions-asked returns, manufacturer defect replacement, blade refurbishment, and direct access to our gunsmiths—before and long after your build leaves the bench.
30 days to change your mind. For life, we stand behind it—if it fails, we make it right; if you break it, we’ll still help.

Every WOOX stock is one of one—cut from American walnut whose grain, figure, and density can’t be replicated. We don’t mold, we select—then shape and finish each piece by hand, the same way our family has worked since 1937.
That choice sets a hard limit: out of every harvest, only a small fraction meets our standard for figure, density, and structural integrity—roughly 1 in 25 blanks. From there, each piece is individually selected and hand-finished by our craftsmen.
You’re not just upgrading a rifle; you’re securing a piece that won’t exist again in the same form—made to be carried, used, and kept for a lifetime. This isn’t mass production. It’s selection, restraint, and time—resulting in a rifle you won’t see twice and won’t need to replace.
