The WOOX AX1 is a unique tomahawk-style hand ax that highlighted by your color choice of handle: Phantom Black, Walnut, and Midnight Grey. Durable and ergonomic, the AX1 is a pleasure to hold and impressive in capability.
The head is finished with Cerakote or Black Bluing to enhance the performance of the axe, making it more resistant to abrasions, wear and tear, corrosion, chemicals, and impact. This axe is perfect for camping or clearing trees and brush in your back yard.

Every WOOX stock is one of one—cut from American walnut whose grain, figure, and density can’t be replicated. We don’t mold, we select—then shape and finish each piece by hand, the same way our family has worked since 1937.
That choice sets a hard limit: out of every harvest, only a small fraction meets our standard for figure, density, and structural integrity—roughly 1 in 25 blanks. From there, each piece is individually selected and hand-finished by our craftsmen.
