Manufactured from billet aluminum, both configurations offer a robust magazine system compatible with Remington 700 and select custom 700-pattern actions. Choose between two configurations based on your shooting needs:
- Hunter DBM: Lightweight, low-profile design optimized for hunting applications. Supports flush-fit Hunter magazines for a streamlined appearance.
- M5 DBM: Rugged design optimized for precision and long-range shooting, featuring an integrated barricade stop and broader AICS-pattern magazine compatibility.
Both the Hunter DBM and M5 DBM are manufactured by Hawkins Precision and CNC-machined from solid billet aluminum for strength, durability, and precision fitment. Both are designed for Remington 700 and compatible 700-pattern actions with an M5 stock inlet.
The Hunter DBM is optimized for lightweight hunting applications, weighing just 3.0–3.36 oz, and is available in Short, Medium, and Long Action configurations. It features a protected, adjustable magazine release and supports compatible flush-fit Hunter magazines.
The M5 DBM is designed for precision and long-range shooting, weighing approximately 5.18–7.33 ozdepending on configuration. Available in Short Action, Long Action, XM, CIP, and CIP+ versions, it features an integrated barricade stop, a cantilever spring magazine release, and compatibility with a wider range of AICS-pattern magazines. Both systems provide secure magazine retention, with exact magazine compatibility depending on action length, caliber, and configuration.
